Salary:                        Actual - £17,113 per annum (FTE £19,346 per annum)

Working Pattern:     37 hours per week, 46 weeks per year (term time plus 2 weeks) Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am  – 4pm

The Role

Thomas Deacon Education Trust are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working and experienced HR Administrator to support the Trust HR Team in delivering an effective and efficient service to all academies within the trust. This role is initially a fixed term contract to August 2020, however, it is highly likely this will become a permanent position.


Key responsibilities will include being the first point of contact for the HR team, coordinating the recruitment process from advertising vacancies to induction stage, inputting absence data and providing support to the HR Business Partners and Head of HR and OD, e.g take minutes, prepare documentation.


The role will require a high level of accuracy and attention to detail whilst working efficiently and confidentially at all times. Working with initiative to make decisions will be key to this role, as well as building effective relationships with key members of staff and recruitment agencies.
